Sunday, September 20 — Prince George Terry Fox Run

9:00 AM–1:00 PM at the Bandshell in Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park. Registration opens at 9:00 AM and the 3 km run begins at 10:00 AM. Registration is free; bicycles, rollerblades, wheelchairs and dogs on leash are welcome.

Sunday, September 20 — Sock Puppets at Two Rivers Gallery

1:00–4:00 PM at Two Rivers Gallery, 725 Canada Games Way. An all-ages Creative Space Sunday activity. $9 per adult, $5 per child, $18 per family, and free for members. Pre-registration is requested.

6:00–9:00 PM at the Prince George Playhouse: School Trustees on Monday, September 21; City Council on Tuesday, September 22; and Mayor on Thursday, September 24.

Friday, September 25 — Painted Denim Patches

6:00–8:00 PM at Two Rivers Gallery, 725 Canada Games Way. Ages 16+. General fee $31.50; UNBC students may register by phone for the listed $5 student rate.

Sunday, September 27 — All Candidates Forum

1:00–5:00 PM at Vanier Hall on Griffiths Avenue. Presented by the North Central Labour Council and open to candidates for School District Trustee, City Council and Mayor.

Tuesday, September 29 — Every Child Matters Community Photo

1:00–2:00 PM at Mr. PG, Highway 97 and Highway 16. The Prince George Urban Indigenous Coalition invites the community to gather in orange for a respectful photo and the unveiling of Mr. PG’s giant Every Child Matters T-shirt. PGUAJS Executive Director Jason Kelly plans to capture an aerial image by drone, subject to safe weather and operating conditions.

Wednesday, September 30 — National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

12:00–5:00 PM at Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park. The program begins at noon with a Guided Reconciliation Walk or community reading of the 94 Calls to Action. A Ceremony and Celebration of Culture begins at 2:00 PM, including a Drum-In for Survivors, reflection, and voices of Survivors, Sixties Scoop Survivors and youth.
